Policies
- Registration: Registration to attend Certified Steganography Examiner Training is
subject to approval by Backbone Security and/or the organization hosting the course.
- Payment: Payment is due upon registration. A major credit card (MasterCard, Visa,
Discover, American Express) is preferred. Authorized purchase orders will also be
accepted and subesquent invoice may be paid by company check.
- Transportation, Lodging, and Meals: Transportation, lodging, and per diem costs
to attend the course are the responsibility of the student.
- Equipment Requirements: Each student will have access to a notebook computer to
use throughout the 2-day course.
- Cancellations:
- Company: Courses are subject to minimum student registration requirements. The decision
to hold the course will be made a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the date the course
is scheduled to begin. In the event Backbone or the course host, if applicable,
cancels a course, every effort will be made to notify registered students as soon
as possible. The course cost and the cost of software licenses, if applicable and
desired, will be fully refunded. Backbone will not be responsible for any costs
other than course registration fees and, if applicable, the cost of software licenses
purchased during registration.
- Student: Cancellations submitted in writing 14 calendar days, or more, before the
course start date are entitled to a full refund or may choose to apply their payment
to a subsequent course without penalty. Cancellations within 14 calendar days of
the course start date are entitled to a refund of 50% of the amount paid to register
for the course and, if applicable purchase software licenses.
- Substitutions: Registered students may elect to substitute another student, subject
to approval as previously described.
- No Shows: Students who do not show up for a course without providing a minimum of
24 hours advance notification will not be eligible for a refund.
- Course Modification: Backbone Security reserves the right to modify course content
at any time.
